Challenge complete · MadeMetric is live
30 days. 13 builds.
One App Store launch.
The experiment worked. One person, ChatGPT Pro, and 30 days turned a trail of ideas into working software—and MadeMetric into a real App Store launch in 26 days.
The result
We didn’t just prototype.
We launched.
The human brought the problems, context, taste, testing, and final calls. ChatGPT Pro accelerated research, design, code, debugging, documentation, and delivery. Together, that compressed the distance between “what if?” and a product anyone can download.
The build challenge succeeded. The next challenge is more meaningful: earn sellers’ trust, learn from real use, and find out whether MadeMetric can become a lasting business.

Small ideas,
made real.
Every build starts with a real problem or a “wouldn’t it be cool if…” The human brings imagination, context, taste, and the final call. ChatGPT Pro helps research, code, test, debug, document, and deploy—sometimes before breakfast.
PERSONAL SYSTEMS · TESTFLIGHT
Cortex
A private thinking companion built around the realities of ADHD.
Capture, focus, planning, calendars, Siri, widgets, and privacy-aware Live Activities come together in one calm system. Cortex catches thoughts before they disappear, organizes incoming responsibilities, and brings the right thing back when it can actually help.
ReasonADHD is a personal struggle for me. Ideas, tasks, and family responsibilities arrive in too many places and are easy to lose once the day gets busy. We built Cortex as a private home for thinking—fast enough for capture and structured enough to help us follow through.
Bambu Control
A native command center for live 3D-printer telemetry, cameras, controls, alerts, and Home and Lock Screen widgets. It makes it easy to check a long print, spot a problem, and act without staying beside the printer or opening several tools.
ReasonLong prints keep running while the rest of life moves on, but the most useful printer information was tied to a desk or separate dashboards. We built Bambu Control so the workshop can stay within reach wherever we are.
Belani Forge
Turns photos and rough problems into structured engineering projects, measurements, design paths, and printable prototypes. It guides an idea from “this needs fixing” toward a practical model that can be reviewed, refined, and manufactured.
ReasonThe hardest part of a custom solution is often turning an incomplete idea into a clear engineering path. We built Belani Forge to organize that uncertainty and shorten the distance from observation to a printable first prototype.
CareBridge PT
A stronger communication loop between a physical-therapy patient and therapist. Visit preparation, exercise plans, symptom check-ins, progress, calendars, and secure conversations help both sides stay prepared and keep the care plan moving between appointments.
ReasonPhysical-therapy progress can get lost between visits—in memory, scattered notes, and separate messages. We built CareBridge PT to give the patient and therapist one shared place to prepare, follow through, and stay connected.
3MF Preview
A lightweight native launcher and SceneKit preview path for opening production-ready 3MF models directly on iPhone. It provides a quick visual check that a model opens correctly and looks ready before it is shared or sent to the printer.
ReasonA full desktop slicer is more than we need when the immediate question is simply whether a production file looks right. We built 3MF Preview to make that last-mile check fast, portable, and available on the device already in our hands.
Belani Pulse
The infrastructure command center for health, topology, deployments, incidents, container intelligence, and live operational context. It puts the status of our self-hosted services, active builds, and recovery tools into one clear mobile view.
ReasonAs our family of apps grew, the information needed to understand a problem became scattered across servers and dashboards. We built Pulse so we can see what changed, what needs attention, and whether a deployment is healthy from anywhere.
Made by CheherishCheherish
A connected storefront and maker-business operating system for custom 3D printing, production, inventory, Etsy orders, and live events. It links the products customers see with the behind-the-scenes work of making, scheduling, stocking, and selling them.
ReasonA growing maker business quickly outgrows separate spreadsheets, shop screens, and event notes. We built Cheherish to give the creative work and the business work one shared home.
OralFrame
A privacy-first dental photography pilot with a guided six-view series, live quality checks, protected storage, and accountable clinic sync. It helps staff capture a consistent set of useful images while keeping each patient record organized and secure.
ReasonClinical photos are most valuable when they are repeatable, easy to review, and handled responsibly. We built OralFrame to reduce guesswork during capture without adding another complicated step to the appointment.
Under-the-Desk Cortex Beacon
An ESP32-powered ambient light that turns Cortex priorities, transition timing, and acknowledgements into glanceable color cues without displaying private task or calendar text.
ReasonADHD can make time shifts and urgency difficult to feel until they become stressful. We built the Beacon to make the next useful signal visible at a glance—quietly, privately, and without adding another screen.
Pentair Pool Automation
A local-first controller for Pentair pool equipment that brings pump, heater, lighting, schedules, and system status into one clear interface.
ReasonPool controls are often fragmented across wall panels, vendor apps, and manual routines. We are building this to make everyday operation easier to understand, safer to manage, and available from the devices we already use.
MadeMetric
A native profit companion for independent Etsy sellers that turns orders, payment fees, unit costs, and missing data into honest product-level profitability. Money Leaks ranks the most valuable actions, while alerts, widgets, and a weekly brief keep the clearest opportunities close at hand.
ReasonRevenue can look healthy while fees, incomplete costs, and low-margin products quietly erase profit. We built MadeMetric so a maker can see what each sale actually earned and know what to fix next.
Responsibility Pulse
A relationship-safe household coordination app that promotes existing calendar events into shared responsibilities and makes four useful updates effortless: I’m on it, running late, blocked, or need help. Every person controls their own calendar access, with no household scoring or surveillance.
ReasonA shared calendar explains when something happens, but not always who owns it or whether they need help. We built Responsibility Pulse to replace assumptions and repeated check-ins with small, reassuring signals that keep a household moving together.

Decision Receipt
A searchable record of what a team decided, why it decided it, who owns the outcome, and when the assumptions should be reviewed. Supporting evidence, source links, status history, and direct Slack and Microsoft Teams capture turn a conversation into a durable receipt.
ReasonImportant decisions disappear into chat threads, and months later people remember the outcome without the context that made it sensible. We built Decision Receipt so teams can preserve the rationale, revisit assumptions, and stop relitigating the same choice.
Behind the builds
Progress became
proof.
The goal was never thirty flawless products. It was thirty days of discovering how far human imagination could go when an always-on AI development team removed the usual friction between idea and execution. This chapter is complete—and MadeMetric’s public launch is the receipt.
“What can we make today that didn’t exist yesterday?”
MadeMetric 1.0 is live for iPhone and iPad.
The challenge rules
Weird ideas welcome
If it solves a real annoyance, helps someone, or makes us laugh, it earns a build.
Ship, don’t pitch
A scrappy working version teaches us more than a polished week of talking about it.
